Best Poster Award for Cecilia Torboli at ECMTB 2026

Our former student Cecilia Torboli, who completed her Master’s degree in October 2025 and is now a PhD student at the University of Udine on a project carried out in collaboration with the CRO of Aviano, has received a Best Poster Award (joint winner) at ECMTB 2026 (the European Conference on Mathematical and Theoretical Biology), which this year was held as a joint meeting of the European Society for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology (ESMTB) and the Society for Mathematical Biology (SMB).

The award-winning poster presented the results of Cecilia’s Master’s thesis, carried out at the University of Trento under the supervision of Cinzia Soresina and Jan Elias (Boehringer Ingelheim).
